Friday, Sept. 24: ONLY 10th graders report to BHS at 8 a.m.- All other students will be remote and on a one-hour delay starting at 9 a.m. 

Monday, Sept. 27: ONLY 9th and 10th grade students report to BHS at 8 a.m.- All other students will be remote starting at 8 a.m. 

Tuesday, Sept. 28: All students will report to BHS by 8 a.m.

Welcome to BHS

Located in the heart of downtown Binghamton, the high school serves approximately 1,400 students each year in grades 9-12.

Binghamton High School is an International Baccalaureate Accredited School and offers 29BHS Report Card 2020-2021 IB courses. The diverse academic curriculum at the high school includes 3 advanced placement courses, 14 college credit courses, Project Lead the Way pre-engineering academy, 53 fine arts courses and career and technical pathways in business, accounting and culinary arts. 

BHS is home to the internationally recognized Rod Serling School of Fine Arts and features more than 22 performing groups. The school puts on a fall play, a spring musical and various concerts throughout the year. The school also features one of only a handful of steel drum bands in the state. 

We are proud to be a neighborhood school in a community with a strong commitment to education and collaboration. Each and everyday BHS staff members work to build strong relationships with our students and parents. Our focus continues to be what is best for our students!

School was out for summer, but the learning continued for teachers across the Binghamton City School District! A rich variety of professional development opportunities were offered to both new employees (we added nearly 60 new members to our instructional team this summer!) and veteran teachers.

BCSD Requests for Medically Fragile Students

We anticipate full in-person student instruction, 5-days per week, for BCSD students for the 2021-2022 school year. There will not be a hybrid learning option as there was last year, although we do know that some students may have unique medical situations that require fully remote instruction.
